Yes, we are still dealing with more thunderstorms again early on this Friday morning. Here is the situation as of 4:30 am:

The first line of storms that moved eastward into Alabama several hours ago has partially lost its punch. The line, now shorter and weaker, extends from Birmingham NE to about Ashville, Gadsden, and Fort Payne. A sronger cluster ahead of that line was over Calhoun and Cleburne County.

Meanwhile, a stronger line of storms has consolidated more to the west. That line extended from the Pickens-Tuscaloosa County line northeast through Walker, Cullman and Marshall County. The storms were moving NE while the overall line of storms moves slowly east.

This new line of storms will move through the Tuscaloosa-Birmingham area in the next couple of hours. Could be a wet morning rush hour.

So far, none of these storms have reached severe criteria.
