Nice Saturday in Progress

A beautiful Saturday is in progress over Central Alabama.

Skies are mostly sunny with just a few puffy cumulus clouds, except in the area between I-20, I-65 and I-85, where a surge of moisture has pushed into eastern Alabama thanks to a low over southeastern Georgia.

Observations from Alex City and Auburn show mostly cloudy skies.

Regional radars are clear, and no showers are expected, but skies will remain partly sunny to occasionally Mostly cloudy over eastern Alabama.

Temperatures are climbing above 80F in the I-20 corrdior at this hour and will top out in the middle and upper 80s.

Tonight and Sunday should be dry, with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Highs tomorrow will edge a little closer to 90 after lows in the 60s overnight.
