Alabama Update – 7:35 pm

| June 7, 2007 @ 7:38 pm | 8 Replies

Just a few showers and storms were still in progress across Alabama this evening… the stronger storms were:

*Around the Blount/Etowah County line, between Oneonta and Gadsden…
*South of Birmingham over southern Jefferson and northern Shelby Counties, roughly along I-65..

All of the showers and storms will be ending over the next hour or so as the air becomes more unstable…. but we expect an increase in the number of showers and storms tomorrow afternoon.

TO THE NORTH: A high risk of severe weather continues over much of Wisconsin, and a moderate risk extends southwest into Oklahoma. Tornado watches blanket much of this area right now….
