A Couple of Strong Storms

NWS/Birmingham has issued a Significant Alert for Marengo and Sumter Counties in West Alabama until 4:45.

This was because of a thunderstorm SW of the Jefferson community moving NE at 15.

The storm may have some strong gusty winds as high as 45 mph and an outside chance of some dime-size hail.

The NWS also issued a Significant Weather Alert for Talladega County until 4:45 because of a thunderstorm 17 miles SW of Talladega moving NE at 20.
