Warning for Lamar and Fayette Counties

A cluster of intensifying storms extends from near Vernon in Lamar County back through Columbus to south of Starkville and to near Louisville.

In addition to the warned counties, strong storms will affect southern Lamar and Pickens Counties shortly.

Be alert for winds gusting to over 60 mph, small hail. torrential rains causing flash flooding and deadly lightning.
