Flooding in Blount

Flooding is going to become a big problem today folks.

It already is in northern Blount County…

County EMA reports flooding in several areas of northern Blount County including Lurleen Dr in Snead, Bullard Rd just N of Blountsville, Poultry Dr W of Blountsville near the Cullman Co line and Williams Settlement Rd in Royal.

Water is over roadways and a couple of roads are washed out.

Remember, turn around, don’t drown. Do not drive into area of flowing water. Do not walk into areas of flooding or try to cross areas of flowing water. Keep kids away from drainage ditches and culvert as well as small streams.
