Michelle Mills was very excited about getting 0.20 rain today at Shottsville, in NW Marion County, NW of Hamilton. See below where James posted her report.

At 8:45 tonight, scattered patches of light rain continues over various sections of the state. There was some moderate rain over parts of Mobile County.

There was actually a Flash Flood Warning for part of Baldwin County this afternoon. Between 4 and 6 inches fell in the Lillian areas. That is the last town you can go through and still be in Alabama as you head east on U.S. 98 toward Pensacola.

Check these amounts:

1.36 inches at Orange Beach
0.88 at Mobile Regional Airport
0.42 at Brookley Field, Mobile
0.61 in Pensacola
0.01 in Evergreen

OUTSIDE OF ALABAMA
2.29 in Lake Charles, La.
2.63 at New Orleans Audubon Airport
4.24 at Slidell, just outside New Orleans

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF ALABAMA DROUGHT
