You know we are in a drought when you get notes like this…

“Dear Mr. Spann,
I am so happy that I just had to let you know that I received TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH of rain at my house. I live in the Shottsville Community of Marion county. I actually have a puddle in my driveway!!!! That hasn’t happened since sometime in APRIL!!!

I PRAY there will be an end to the drought soon. I worry my well is getting low. We depend on that as our ONLY water source.

God bless you,
Michelle Mills”

Congratulations on the rain, Michelle… lets hope we get many more like this in coming days!
