Another Nice Day
An all new edition of the ABC 33/40 Weather Xtreme video is available in the player below. You can subscribe to the Weather Xtreme video on iTunes by clicking here.
BACK TO THE 70s: We are headed for the mid 70s again today with a sunny sky. Doesn’t get much better than this. And, tomorrow will be almost as nice, with highs in the 70s. We will still mention some risk of isolated showers tomorrow evening with a cold front, but limited moisture means hardly any rain. Most spots won’t have enough to measure, and the best chance of any showers will be over the Tennessee Valley of extreme North Alabama.
FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND: Temperatures will drop a bit behind the front, with highs in the mid to upper 60s Saturday and Sunday. We will be close to 70 Sunday afternoon, and all three days will feature a good supply of sunshine. Saturday morning will be chilly; most places will have a low in the 40 to 43 degree range, with 30s likely for the normally colder valleys along with some potential for scattered light frost.
NEXT WEEK: The GFS continues the idea of a significant rain event toward the latter part of next week; the 00Z run shows the biggest rain day on Thursday March 26. This is followed by a colder airmass on Friday, March 27, with some potential for a freeze either that morning, or on Saturday March 28. Stay tuned…
