At The Stroke of Midnight

In the very first minutes of Monday morning, rain was spreading fairly quickly into Alabama from the southwest.

The rain was increasing across Central and South Mississippi and moving into West and Central Alabama.

The heaviest rain (moderate to heavy) was in Mississippi bounded by Hattiesburg, Jackson and Meridian.

For Alabama, the rain will continue for much of this morning tapering off by mid day or early afternoon.

This is not as big a rain event as we had that ended early Sunday.
