Snow, Or No Snow?

As I have stated here many times in recent days, there is little skill in forecasting snow under a cold core upper low in Alabama. I don’t care who you are, or how long you have been doing this.

We really won’t know until the event sets up tomorrow night.

Having said that, here is the 00Z NAM accumulated snow chart for your consideration. How about 5 inches of snow… in TROY!

I do think there is a good chance of accumulation snow for some part of Alabama tomorrow night into Sunday morning, but it is simply impossible to determine that exact location now. Stay tuned for updates late tonight and over the weekend. Never a dull moment!
