A Late Night Look

For the first time in a bunch of hours, no formal warnings in effect for Alabama.

Still plenty of rain and thunderstorms still in progress, however. A Special Weather Statement (Significant Weather Alert) was in effect for Fayette, Lamar Pickens and Tuscaloosa County until 11 pm. This is short of a warning.

The Tornado Watch continues for a large part of Alabama until 3 a,m and a Flash Flood Watch continues also.

We will be awake all night with updates as needed.
