9:30 pm Alabama Update

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning was cancelled for for Lamar, Pickens and Walker County before the 9:30 expiration and it expired for Fayette and Tuscaloosa County at 9:30.

Rain was still widespread across much of Alabama late tonight. A number of thunderstorms over North Mississippi will be moving onto West Alabama later. It was pouring rain over Lamar County near the Mississippi border.

The Flash Flood Watch continues. The Tornado Watch continues for a number of Central Alabama counties until 3 am, CST.
