Sunday Evening in Alabama
Clouds were increasing but so far no rain.
However, to our west showers were occurring over Mississippi. Not all of it reaching the ground. There was an area of slightly heavier showers (but still only moderate) over South Central Mississippi.
Everything moving eastward–almost due east.
Further to the west, lightning return was noted over SE Louisiana, East Texas.Considerable lightning was indicated over the NW Gulf of Mexico close to shore–from just south of the mouth of the Mighty Mississippi to just south of Galveston.
A surface low pressure areas was beginning to develop over the Lower Rio Grande Valley and Extreme NE Mexico.
Bill Murray will be along with the Monday Morning 7-Day Planner a little later and also some more blog information.
