Light Snow Aloft

| January 15, 2009 @ 11:38 am | 17 Replies

Radar late this morning was painting a patch of light snow across Central and East Arkansas, West Tennessee and a small part of North Mississippi.

A small part of that has edged into Extreme NW Alabama. It appears that virtually none of it is reaching the ground because the air is so dry. But we have had some queries from people who saw the radar.

Earlier this morning, a brief period of light snow did occur at Cookville, Tenn., on I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville with brief light accumulation.
