Would almost take a small book to list all the reports of flooding and other foul weather today. This post is only a fraction:

* Several trees down at 6:26 pm at Adamsburg in Dekalb County. This was at the intersection of highways 35 and 176 near the Dekalb-Cherokee County line.

* 5 inches of rain at Somerville and roads east of Six Mile badly flooded. (Report by Dan Satterfield)

* 5.30 inches of rain at West Point in Cullman County

* 4.80 at Crossville

* 6 inches NW of Arab

* 5.33 inches on Ayres Road behind the Fayette Middle School. (From Kristopher Gardner, storm spotter as of 4 pm.

* 6.50 inches of rain as of mid-afternoon reported by Melba Pierce at Arkadelphia, SW edge of Cullman County.

* 3.64 at Gadsden Skycam just since midnight

* 6.49 at Smith Lake, Walker County side

* 5.60 Scottsboro

* 5.66 Scrougeout
