Late Night Lok at Alabama Weather

It feels like so many nights that I spent as an anxious snow loving kid in the 70s, dying for the first sign of a snowflake.

So far, a few flakes and a little light rain across the rain. NWS radars are turned on clear air mode, helping them to see snowflakes. But right now, they aren’t seeing much.

Lift is expected to increase during the overnight, and precipitation should correspondingly pick up. The best chances for snow showers will continue through mid morning. Temperatures will climb only into the lower 40s.

Skies will clear tomorrow night. Tuesday will be sunny and chilly. Rain chances return Wednesday night.
