Neighbors in Need – Adamsville – March 17

I was sure pleased that to make it out to Adamsville for the Neighbors in Need campaign to assist in clean up in the neighborhoods affected by the March 1 tornado. We met at the Midway United Methodist Church and then went to help folks still digging out from the debris left by the tornado destruction. I captured a few images of the event and put them together in a video that you can see by clicking below. It was a beautiful day from a weather point of view plus a beautiful day to see people from many backgrounds come together to aid our neighbors.

A special thanks goes to the wonderful volunteers who gave up a portion of their weekend to assist our neighbors in Adamsville. I know that I felt honored to be out there with all the great people who came together in a spirit of community to help those people affected by the EF-1 tornado.
