COOL DAYS, COLD NIGHTS: No rain for Alabama through Sunday, but temperatures will be below average for late November as the coldest air so far season continues to drop into the Deep South.
DRY DAYS: The sky is mostly sunny across Alabama this afternoon with a cool north breeze. Tonight will be clear and colder with a low in 36-44 degree range.
The cold front is moving through the state today and the sky continues to clear. Highs today are in the upper 60s and lower 70s, but a brisk north wind is blowing in a colder air mass that we will feel tonight, and the rest of the week.
Records were set for both rainfall and temperatures at several central and north Alabama official climate reporting sites.

A tornado struck south Tuscaloosa early on a Sunday morning on this date in 1988, damaging 15 homes, injuring seven, and prompting National Guard cleanup efforts.
CLEARING: We have leftover clouds over parts of Alabama this morning along with some scattered drizzle and patches of dense fog. Expect a clearing sky today as dry air punches in from the west.

RADAR CHECK: Rain is widespread across Southeast Alabama this afternoon… large areas of rain are also over some of the northern and central counties. Temperatures are mostly in the 60s.
A widespread, soaking rain moved into Alabama overnight and has continued through the morning hours. The rain will slowly wind down from west to east the rest of today and into tonight.
