New SPC Day One Is Basically Unchanged from Yesterday’s Day Two
A few strong to severe storms are possible late tonight across northwest Alabama, but the greater threat remains west of the state from Texas to western Tennessee.
If you haven’t been outside yet, you are missing out on an absolutely brilliant day. Other than a few fair-weather clouds dotting the skies over the west-central parts of the state, skies have been completely sunny.
SUNNY DAY: Temperatures are in the 50s and 60s across Alabama this afternoon with sunshine in full supply tonight. Tonight will be clear and chilly, but not as cold last night.
With a sunny sky, temperatures rebound into the 60s across Alabama today.
WINDY, COLD FIRST DAY OF SPRING: Clouds are over the northern 2/3 of Alabama this afternoon with temperatures only in the 40s in many areas; a strong north wind is making it feel colder. We have a few sprinkles on radar… even a little sleet in spots.
