Quiet weather continues today through Friday across Alabama. We are seeing more sun than clouds today for the northern half of the state, but the southern half of the state is seeing more clouds than sun.
QUIET THROUGH FRIDAY: Most of Alabama will stay dry through Friday with a gradual warming trend; highs will be mostly in the 50s, but some South Alabama communities will see low 60s by Thursday and Friday.
SUNNY JANUARY DAY: Temperatures are in the 40s and 50s across Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine. Tonight will be clear and cold with a low in the 25-35 degree range.

The weather is sunny and dry, but temperatures remain below average the next couple of days. Highs today and tomorrow will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s, while lows will be in the 20s.

DRY DAYS: After a sub-freezing start, look for a high in the 48-55 degree range across Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine. Dry weather continues for the rest of the week with a slow warming trend; we reach the upper 50s and low 60s by Friday.
DRY, PLEASANT AFTERNOON: The rain that was over South Alabama this morning has mostly moved out of the state; the sky is mostly sunny with temperatures in the 50s. The exception is the southeast corner of the state, where Dothan reports mid 40s with lingering clouds at mid-afternoon.
We are seeing a clearing sky this afternoon and temperatures are in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Tonight, colder air arrives in Alabama, expect lows in the low to mid 20s tomorrow morning.
