Winter weather advisories for freezing rain have been issued for parts of Central Alabama for very early Sunday morning through the afternoon hours. A hard freeze watch has also been issued for the bitterly cold temperatures that will follow.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9:00 AM CST Monday.
Dense fog has formed across Central and North Alabama this evening. Driving conditions will be hazardous across much of the area through early Saturday morning.
