Snow will continue to impact mainly South Central Alabama for the next few hours, but hazardous travel conditions continue in many areas.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon.
Road conditions are worsening quickly in parts of the winter storm warning area this morning. Please stay off the roads, which are becoming snow covered and slick.
The NWS has upgraded the winter weather advisory to a winter storm warning for the rest of the Birmingham metro including Jefferson, Tuscaloosa and St. Clair Counties.
