WARM, DRY WEATHER CONTINUES: Temperatures will rise into the mid 80s across most of Alabama this afternoon with a partly to mostly sunny sky; the beginning of what should be the warmest week so far this year.
CLOUDY, DRY AFTERNOON: Temperatures are in the 77-81 degree range across most of Alabama this afternoon with a mostly cloudy sky. Nothing on radar, and our weather should remain dry tonight. Then, a dynamic weather system will bring active weather to the Deep South tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night.
The new month starts off the way the last one ended, dry and very warm. Today we are seeing temperatures surge into the 80s for most locations despite more clouds than sun in the sky. Tonight will be mainly cloudy with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
WARM START TO APRIL: Today will be another warm, dry day for Alabama with a high in the low 80s in most places with a mix of sun and clouds. The weather becomes active late tomorrow and tomorrow night as an organized band of showers and thunderstorms moves into the Deep South.
The clear sky from this morning is slowing seeing clouds increase from the west and southwest ahead of our next weather system that will bring some showers to Alabama tonight and more widespread rain tomorrow.

RADAR CHECK: We have large areas of light rain moving across North/Central Alabama early this morning… otherwise the sky is mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 60s. We project a high in the 75-80 degree range later today; most of the afternoon should be dry and the sun could peek out at times.
