SUMMER-LIKE PATTERN: We note a few sprinkles across Alabama early this morning, but most of the state is dry with temperatures in the 70s. The high today will be close to 90 degrees with mix of sun and clouds; we will maintain the chance of a few scattered showers and thunderstorms through early tonight.
RADAR CHECK: We have a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the state this afternoon, but most of Alabama is dry with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
RADAR CHECK: A few patches of light rain are over West Alabama early this morning before sunrise; those are fading fast, and most of the day ahead will be dry.
WARM, DRY AFTERNOON: The sky is partly to mostly sunny across Alabama this afternoon with temperatures generally in the 80s. Clouds will increase tonight ahead of an approaching storm system. Some rain is likely after midnight.
The weather remains unsettled with some scattered showers currently and a better chance of showers and storms this afternoon and evening.
Today we are seeing a mix of sun and clouds and very warm temperatures with temperatures well into the mid and upper 80s this afternoon. Scattered, random showers and storms will once again be on the radar this afternoon and evening across the state.
QUIET AFTERNOON: Not much on radar across Alabama this afternoon… with a partly sunny sky temperatures are generally in the mid to upper 80s. A few isolated showers or storms could form this evening or tonight, however.
RADAR CHECK: Showers and thunderstorms are moving across the northern quarter of Alabama early this morning… heavier storms are producing small hail and gusty winds. We also note a few isolated showers over South Alabama, south of Montgomery. Otherwise, we expect a mix of sun and clouds today with a few widely scattered showers or storms around this afternoon.
RADAR CHECK: Most of Alabama is warm and dry this afternoon; we note a few very small isolated showers over the northern third of the state. Temperatures are in the 86-91 degree range. Showers could enter North and West Alabama tonight with the approach of a weak front.
Plenty of sunshine and very warm temperatures across Alabama with highs surging into the upper 80s and some spots are seeing low 90s. Rain chances are not zero, but generally less than 10% this afternoon and evening. A few showers are possible overnight tonight.

WARM AFTERNOON: Temperatures are mostly in the 82-87 degree range across Alabama this afternoon with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Nothing on radar; tonight will be fair with a low in the 60s.
Plenty of sunshine and very warm temperatures across Alabama for this first day of May and this will continue into tomorrow. Highs are surging into the upper 80s and some spots will be flirting with 90° the next couple of days.
