WARM AFTERNOONS THROUGH SUNDAY: Highs will be in the mid 80s across Alabama through the weekend as the warm early fall pattern continues. The weather stays dry today, but we will mention a chance of scattered showers tomorrow statewide.
WARM OCTOBER AFTERNOON: Temperatures are mostly in the mid 80s across Alabama this afternoon with a partly to mostly sunny. Nothing on radar, and tonight will be fair and pleasant with a low in the 60s.
CALM WEATHER PATTERN: Alabama’s weather will be warm and dry today with a high in the 82-86 degree range for most communities. We note the average high for Birmingham on October 2 is 81.
RADAR CHECK: No rain on radar at mid-afternoon; any showers that form over the next few hours will be few and far between. Otherwise we have a mix of sun and clouds across the state with temperatures mostly in the low to mid 80s. Tonight will be fair with a low in the 60s.
QUIET PATTERN: While we can’t rule out a shower or two over North Alabama this afternoon and early tonight, most of the state will be dry today with a high in the 81-84 degree range for most communities.
RADAR CHECK: Showers are very hard to find across Alabama this afternoon… we have a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the 75-85 degree range. Any isolated showers will end this evening; the sky becomes fair tonight with a low in the 60s.
FOGGY START: We have a dense fog advisory for the northern half of Alabama early this morning; the fog will dissipate by mid-morning. Today will be warm with a partly sunny sky; again we have the chance of a few isolated showers over the northern third of the state this afternoon.
Today through Sunday, little change in the day to day forecast with plenty of sunshine and very warm temperatures as highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s expected.
Some showers remain possible today and tomorrow, but these are confined to the southern half of the state. For the rest of the state, we are seeing more sunshine than clouds, with highs in the mid 80s this afternoon.
RADAR CHECK: We have a few spotty showers over West and Southwest Alabama this afternoon, otherwise we have a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures mostly in the 80s. Showers will fade this evening
RADAR CHECK: The northern half of Alabama is enjoying a mostly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 86-90 degree range; clouds cover parts of South Alabama, and a few showers are near the Gulf Coast. Most of the state will be dry tonight with a low in the 60s and low 70s.
RADAR CHECK: We have scattered showers over the southern third of Alabama this afternoon; the northern counties are dry with a good supply of sunshine. Temperatures are mostly in the 80s; Montgomery is one of the few spots reaching the 90 degree mark.
MOSTLY DRY TODAY: Much of Alabama will be rain-free today; we expect only a few isolated showers over the southern third of the state this afternoon. Highs will range from the mid to upper 80s over the northern counties, to the low 90s down south.
RADAR CHECK: We have a few isolated showers on radar over West and South Alabama this afternoon… nothing especially heavy or widespread. Otherwise, we have a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from the 80s over the eastern half of the state to the low 90s to the west.
