UNSETTLED PATTERN CONTINUES: Deep, tropical moisture will linger across Alabama through the rest of the week with daily rounds of showers and a few thunderstorms. Of course, there will be nice breaks in the rain, and the sun will be out at times, but occasional rain is likely. Heavier storms will come from noon to midnight
RADAR CHECK: Showers and thunderstorms are increasing in number and intensity across Alabama this afternoon. Where rain is falling, temperatures are in the 70s. Away from showers we are seeing mostly mid 80s with a mix of sun and clouds.

RADAR CHECK: A number of showers and thunderstorms are in progress across Alabama this afternoon. Not raining everywhere, but the stronger storms are producing heavy rain and a good bit of lightning. With a limited amount of sun temperatures are only in the low to mid 80s across much of the state.
RADAR CHECK: Large areas of rain are moving through Alabama early this morning, and we continue to forecast occasional showers and thunderstorms today and tonight. With high precipitable water values, storms will be very efficient rain producers. Heavier storms will also be capable of producing strong gusty winds and lots of lightning.

WET/UNSETTLED PATTERN AHEAD: We have a few spotty showers over North Alabama early this morning, but the main round of showers and storms will come in the 12 noon to 12 midnight time frame later today and tonight as an upper trough beats down the heat ridge.

RADAR CHECK: We have another day of scattered summer soakers across Alabama. Storms are producing very heavy rain, frequent lighting, and gusty winds as they move to the east. Where rain is falling temperatures are in the 70s and 80s, away from the storms we have low to mid 90s.
RADAR CHECK: Rain is falling early this morning in spot spots north and west of Birmingham; the rest of the state is dry with temperatures in the 70s. With a mix of sun and clouds we expect a high in the low to mid 90s today with random, scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early tonight.
RADAR CHECK: Bands of showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain, continue across Alabama this afternoon. Rain will end soon after sunset tonight, and the sky becomes mostly fair with a low in the 67-73 degree range early tomorrow.
TROPICAL TUESDAY: The remnant circulation of Beryl will pass well to the north of Alabama today, but it will help to pull some deeper tropical moisture into the state helping in the production of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms.
