Most of Alabama is dealing with more clouds than sun today, and underneath those clouds, there are a few very light showers showing up on the radar, especially over East Alabama.
ISOLATED SHOWERS LATER TODAY? While most of Alabama will stay dry today with a high around 80 degrees, we will mention the risk of a few small, isolated showers this afternoon as moisture levels rise a bit.
VERY WARM FALL DAY: Temperatures are in the mid 80s again across most of Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine. We note the average high for Birmingham on October 25 is 73. Tonight will be clear with a low in the 56-62 degree range.
Another sun-filled day across Alabama with very warm to almost hot temperatures this afternoon as we are seeing mid to upper 80s. Again, flirting with record values for this time of year.
STILL DRY, STILL WARM: Birmingham reached 86 degrees yesterday, which tied the record high for October 25, last set in 1927. Temperatures return to the mid 80s today and tomorrow with a good supply of sunshine both days.
VERY WARM OCTOBER DAY: Temperatures are in the mid 80s across much of Alabama this afternoon, very close to record levels for mid to late October. The sky is mostly sunny, and tonight will be fair with a low in the 55-60 degree range.
Our days continue to feature sunny, gorgeous weather with highs in the mid to upper 80s, which are about ten degrees above average.
WARM OCTOBER DAY: Temperatures are mostly in the 80-85 degree range across Alabama this afternoon, about ten degrees above average for the 23rd of October. The air is dry, and the sky is sunny.
Still no signs of rain the next 7-10 days for Alabama, and it sure looks like Birmingham will have its first October with no rain since 1924.
SUN FILLED OCTOBER DAY: With a sunny sky temperatures are generally in the 80-85 degree range across Alabama this afternoon. Tonight will be fair and cool with a low between 48 and 55 degrees. Today is the 24th consecutive day with no rain for Birmingham and much of Alabama.
LONG DRY SPELL: October is usually the driest month of the year in Alabama, so it is not unusual that we expect no rain around here for at least the next seven to ten days. Temperatures today reach the mid 80s, but a dry cold front will bring cooler air down into the state tonight.
RADAR CHECK: Light rain is fairly widespread across Southwest Alabama this afternoon; showers are widely spaced over the northern half of the state. Temperatures are in the 70s over South Alabama with clouds and rain.
