WARM AFTERNOONS: Highs will be in the mid 80s across much of Alabama today, tomorrow, and Saturday, about ten degrees above average for mid to late October. The air stays dry, so expect sunny days and fair nights.
Still no signs of rain the next 7-10 days for Alabama, and it sure looks like Birmingham will have its first October with no rain since 1924.
DRY, DUSTY OCTOBER DAYS: Today will be the 25th consecutive day without rain for Birmingham and a decent part of Alabama. With a sunny sky temperatures rise into the 80-84 degree range for most communities this afternoon; we note the average high for Birmingham on October 23 is 73.
Dry conditions continue today, and we are warm this week. Cooler weather ahead next week.
DRY DAYS CONTINUE: Today will be the 24th consecutive day with no rain for Birmingham and much of Alabama as the long dry spell continues. Look for sunny warm afternoons and clear cool nights through Friday.
No signs of rain the next 7-10 days for Alabama, and it is looking more and more likely that it will be into November before we can bring rain back to the forecast.

Afternoons will be warmer, and most of the state will see highs in the mid 80s by the end of the week, around ten degrees above average.
After another frosty morning across Alabama, we are seeing sunshine in full supply today, allowing temperatures to surge into the 70s this afternoon.
