New Tornado Watch for North Alabama Until 11 p.m.
A new tornado watch has been issued for North Alabama and Middle Tennessee.
It goes until 11 p.m. CST.
Alabama Counties included in the Birmingham NWS area are:
In the Huntsville NWS area:
Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison and Morgan. T
A line of supercell thunderstorms extends from near Murray KY to east of Dyersburg to west of Jackson TN to east of Holly Springs to east of Batesville to near Charleston MS.
There is significant tornado damage near Holly Springs.
This long lived supercell has produced continuous or near continuous tornado damage back into far western Mississippi The tornado is currently near Ashland MS.
