Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Greene/Hale Counties
The more southern segment of storms has just prompted a new severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Greene and Hale Counties.
A dangerous bowing line segment extend in an arc from Boligee down to just west of Forkland. Damaging winds are likely and there is a possibility of a spin up tornado as well. Communities includig Eutaw, Akron and Sawyerville are in the path.
The line segment that prompted the severe thunderstorm warning for Winston County has weakened a bit, but is still quite intense. It is passing near Double Springs and is still capable of producing damaging winds.
