Storms Approaching Birmingham Metro

Strong storms blowing into the Birmingham area currently. These storms are not severe, but they are producing gusty winds, frequent lightning, torrential rain, and likely some hail.

These storms continue to race off towards the east and should last only thirty minutes or so, before passing by your location. These storms will impact the major roadways including Interstate 65, 20/50, and 459. These storms will be causing delays with the high school games, but these games should be able to continue after a delay.

These storms are slowly weakening, but will continue to push through the Birmingham Metro.
