Radar Check

| April 27, 2014 @ 9:26 am

We continue to watch showers and storms along the warm front that is lifting across the region this morning. At this time, none of these storms are severe, but they are producing heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and some small hail. Within this area of convection, there could be a storm that reaches severe limits briefly, but nothing widespread is expected.

These storms are producing quite a bit of lightning as well. They will be entering the western portions of the state and will be impacting areas in Sumter, Greene, Pickens, Lamar, and Marion counties. These showers and storms will continue to spread north and east through the morning hours.
