Cooler with a Clearing Sky

There is certainly a change in the air today. The 70s from Saturday have been replaced with 50s for your Sunday. The majority of the rain has moved east of the state this afternoon. There remain a few very light showers throughout Central Alabama, but even these will be gone within the next few hours.

The cold front has pushed through the area and we are beginning to see some drier air work into the state. The clouds are beginning to thin out as a result of this, and a we will likely see more sun than clouds later this afternoon. A north wind will persist today and will keep it feeling cooler. It won’t be a bad afternoon, minus the much cooler weather. The clear skies tonight and light winds will allow our temperatures to drop well into the 30s by tomorrow morning.
