Roads Are a Mess

Some late reports:

All Bessemer City roads slick.

Birmingham Fire Department initiating contingency plans. Several of their pieces of equipment stuck.

City of Birmingham has initiated their City Weather Plan.

Brookwood Hospital is not accessible due to ice from either side.

Numerous roads are slick and icy across the area. Several roads are impassable.

Roads in Chilton and Taladega Counties are impassable according to County Engineers.
