A Gorgeous Fall Day
Hard to find fault with today’s weather across Alabama and the Southeast. Cold front has pushed well southeast of the state and is currently over Central Florida. Behind that front, high pressure has settled into the region bring cooler, drier air and sunny skies.
A few patchy areas of clouds across the state late this morning, but those will continue to move out. Most areas have warmed into the 50s after having morning lows in the 40s. Those temperatures will continue to climb into the mid-60s for afternoon highs, as a northerly wind will keep it a little cool today.
Any outdoor activities you have planned will have no weather related issues. Today is a great day to take a drive and experience the beautiful fall foliage across the Alabama landscape as fall colors are nearing peak conditions. This is your best opportunity for the year to see the colors as the leaves won’t be around much longer.
