Special Film Tonight at Sidewalk

Our very own James Spann is featured in a special film this evening at Birmingham’s fabulous Sidewalk Film Festival.

The documentary, The Druid City, about Tuscaloosa will air in the Alabama Documentary Shorts 1 session at the Red Mountain Theatre Company. The venue is located at 301 19th Street North in downtown. The session begins at 6:15 p.m.

The film was a Winner at the Redstone Film Festival and received Special Recognition for a Documentary Short at the Boston International Film Festival

Here is the film’s description: A resilient Alabama city, catalyzed by hope, turns to their unwavering faith in God, football and each other as vehicles to face the challenges of rebuilding their community after one of the worst natural disasters in American history.
