A very strong thunderstorms over southwestern Pickens County is producing severe hail and cold be producing damaging winds. It is impacting areas around Aliceville, Cochrane and Memphis and could cause travel issues along highways 17, 14 and 13. This storm is moving very slowly to the northeast. With the slow movement we will be watching for a threat of flash flooding as well.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR MCMULLEN…
OR 5 MILES WEST OF ALICEVILLE…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

ALICEVILLE…GARDEN…MCMULLEN…GAINESVILLE LAKE BOAT RAMP AND
CAMPGROUND…COCHRANE AND GEORGE DOWNER AIRPORT.
