Storms Approaching Birmingham
Strong storms producing frequent lightning and torrential rain are impacting Tuscaloosa, Walker and now western Jefferson County. Storm will continue to move off to the east-southeast and will be impacting Birmingham within the hour.
Very loud thunder as well as some isolated flooding are occurring with these storms this afternoon.
Worst of the weather stretches from near Duncanville, north through Brookwood, Lakeview, Oak Grove, Birmingport and Sumiton. Very heavy rain is falling causing very lower visibilities, use extreme caution if you are out in these storms.
