Strong Storms in Birmingham Area
Heavy storms have quickly developed across the Birmingham Metro area in the past hour.
They are heaviest over western Jefferson County from Graysville, Adamsville to Mulga and westward over rural parts of the county. They are also strong over eastern parts of the county from Irondale to Roebuck.
The cells are moving east northeast.
Expect brief very heavy rain, deadly lightning, and wind gusts to 40 mph.
