Severe Thunderstorm Warning Clay/Talladega Counties
This severe thunderstorm is east of Highway 280 and continues to push off to the east southeast. The warning is for extreme southeastern Talladega and includes the community of Waldo. This storm will be moving into Central Clay County and will be impacting both Ashland and Lineville. Hail, gusty winds and dangerous lightning are being reported with this thunderstorm.

* AT 636 PM CDT…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
WALDO TO 10 MILES WEST OF ASHLAND TO PARKDALE…AND MOVING EAST AT
20 MPH.
* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
ASHLAND…LINEVILLE…BARFIELD…ROSELLE…HOLLINS…CHANDLER
SPRINGS…GUNTHERTOWN AND MILLERVILLE.
WINDS OF 60 MPH WILL BREAK LARGE TREE LIMBS AND CAUSE SOME
DAMAGE…ESPECIALLY TO SMALLER STRUCTURES.
