A Cold Night Across Alabama
Heading into the overnight hours, expect cold temperatures across the state. Looking at this particular model run for tomorrow morning at 6 AM, it does in fact pick up on the cold pocket of air over north central Alabama. I expect many areas will see overnight lows in the lower 40s. Lows in the 30s could be widespread if the skies remain clear and the winds go calm which will allow for ideal radiational cooling. If not 30s can still be expected in those colder spot across the state.
