Tornado Watch for North Alabama

That sound you heard all over North and North Central Alabama was the sound of tens of thousands of NOAA Weatheradios and smartphone apps going off with a tornado watch.

It goes until 10 a.m.

Birmingham NWS Counties include Blount, Fayette, Greene, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.

We will have the Huntsville Counties shortly, but it should include all of the counties in the Tennessee Valley, including Colbert, Lauderdale, Franklin, Lawrence, Limestone, Morgan, Madison, Marshall, Jackson and DeKalb.
