Hunker Down Mode

| August 28, 2012 @ 7:35 pm

The most used phase of Hurricane Isaac will be “hunker down mode”, referring to the shelter in place policy that was employed for New Orleans.

It will be a good first test for the level and flood control structure improvements that have been employed in the almost exactly seven years to the day since Katrina made landfall.

Communication and coordination seems to be in excellent shape.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends in the hurricane zone tonight.
