A few notes as we approach the 4 p.m. advisory time:

Hurricane Hunters found 994 millibar central pressure. Still slowly strengthening.

Still not very organized on satellite imagery, but trying to get its act together.

Definitely moving northwest according to center fixes.

Canadian: up the Florida Peninsula
European: Mississippi Coast
GFDL: Destin as a 966 mb hurricane
GFS: over Miami, then to Apalachicola, curving into southern Georgia
HWRF: near Key Largo, then to near Fort Walton at 975mb hurricane, then into Central Alabama.
