Tornado Watch Issued Until 9 p.m.

The NWS has issued a tornado watch for the northern third of the state. It is valid until 9 p.m. CST.

In the Birmingham NWS area of responsibility, it includes:
Blount, Cherokee, Etowah, Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker and Winston Counties.

In the Huntsville NWS area of responsibility, it includes:
Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan Counties.

The watch DOES NOT include the cities of Tuscaloosa, Birmingham or Anniston. It does include Gadsden however.
