No change at this hour.

Temperatures continue to be generally in the middle 30s across Central Alabama as a large area of precipitation continues over the eastern part of the state, trailing back into central sections.

The precipitation is mostly light rain, mixed with some sleet. Any locations that manage to or below freezing could experience some icing on bridges and overpasses this morning, which could cause travel problems.

Later this morning, colder air will enter the state and precipitation should change to light snow or snow flurries in some spots.

While that problem is not expected to be widespread enough to warrant any advisories, it is a situation that deserves monitoring through the morning hours.
