Near Picture-Perfect Weather Today; Even Better Tomorrow

| April 12, 2025 @ 10:52 am

It’s a beautiful but cool morning across Alabama. The good news is that we have plenty of sunshine brightening our day today, and none of those dreary skies we were seeing yesterday with those scattered showers and storms. Temperatures as of 10AM this morning were in the 50s across Central Alabama, in the upper 40s to the mid 50s in North Alabama, and in the upper 50s to the mid 60s in South Alabama. Gulf Shores was the warmest spot at 64 degrees, while the cool spot was Fort Payne at 49 degrees. Daytime highs across the state will range from the lower 60s up north to the mid 70s in the south. Unfortunately, with clear skies, those overnight lows will get rather chilly, reaching the mid 30s to the lower 50s from north to south.

Forecast high temperatures on Sunday.

We will be much warmer on Sunday with sunny skies, and we will need it after that chilly start. Afternoon highs will top out in the 70s across the state, which makes for an even more perfect day to have some outdoor activities before having to start the work week on Monday.

Take your time out there and be patient. Life is too precious to hurry through it. Each day is a gift. Have a great day and enjoy this wonderful weather.
