No Warnings in Alabama Right Now

| April 10, 2025 @ 10:21 pm

The good news is that there are no severe thunderstorm warning in effect across Alabama at this hour.

Radar indicates that our line of storms is pretty solid now across the central part of the state from near Gainesville in Sumter County to Eutaw in Greene County to Akron in Hale County to Maplesville in southwestern Chilton County to Deatsville in Elmore County to Camp Hill in Tallapoosa County.

Lots of heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds in the stronger cells.

There is a severe thunderstorm warning that comes right up to the Alabama/Mississippi border. If these storms hold together they will impact Sumter County later. Hopefully they will weaken.
