Severe Weather Update: All Clear for Today; Some Scattered Rain This Evening
Alabama has been cleared from the risk areas of the SPC Day 1 Outlook! Here is the current outlook; portions of Alabama remain highlighted as having the potential to see sub-severe thunderstorm activity throughout the remainder of the day.
The severe storms that plunged across the state this morning and early afternoon have now moved off to the East, and some parts of the state may see some additional rainfall this evening. While we are not expecting any more severe weather in Alabama today, another risk comes in just a couple days.
Wednesday will bring yet another chance for damaging storms, especially in the Northwestern portions of Alabama. Exact details are still being worked out, but here is the SPC Day 3 Outlook for Wednesday:
